Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using TightBid. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Service

TightBid is a service operated by Tight Bid, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). TightBid provides a Chrome browser extension and web application that uses AI to analyze publicly available storage unit auction listing data and images. The analysis is intended to assist users in forming their own bidding decisions.

2. No Accuracy Guarantee
TightBid's analysis is generated by AI and is provided for informational purposes only. Item identification, value estimates, bid recommendations, and any other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. We make no representations or warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of any analysis for any particular purpose.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated valuations are estimates based on visible information and should not be treated as professional appraisals.
  • Storage unit contents are often partially obscured or misidentified in photos.
  • All bidding decisions are yours alone. TightBid is not responsible for any bid you place or any outcome of any auction.
  • Legal information provided (e.g. state vehicle title warnings) is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for guidance specific to your situation.
3. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tightbid.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Credits

TightBid is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan.

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion.
  • Credits are allocated per billing period and do not carry over unless otherwise stated for your plan.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service in bulk.
  • Share, resell, or transfer your account access to others.
  • Use automated tools to consume credits or access the API outside of the intended extension interface.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

TightBid and its content (excluding AI-generated analysis output) are owned by Tight Bid, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. The AI-generated analysis output produced for your use is yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Sites and Content

TightBid accesses auction listing data from third-party websites (StorageTreasures, LockerFox, SelfStorageAuction.com, and others). We are not affiliated with these platforms. Their terms of service govern your use of their sites. We make no guarantees about data availability or accuracy from third-party sources.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tight Bid, LLC and its members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or losses arising from auction bids placed in reliance on the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tight Bid, LLC and its members from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
